Pulse Bet Uganda (www.pulsebet.com) is a sportsbook that offers wagers on football, basketball, baseball, and tennis. There are more than 1000 games to bet on. Making a deposit is quick and easy. Withdrawals tend to be unproblematic, often instant. The bookmaker rounds out all of this with a user-friendly web app and several channels to get support.

Registration process

It is quick and easy to sign up with Pulse Bet. The Join button is in the upper right hand corner of the homepage, where it usually is. To create an account, you will be asked for your mobile number. You must enter a password, observing the requirements for characters and length. If you have a promo code, you enter it here. Finally, check the box to confirm you are at least 25 years old.

You verify your mobile phone number using an OTP that you will receive by SMS. Each player or user is allowed to have one account per mobile operator. For example, you can have one MTN Number and one Airtel Number. MTN and Airtel are two leading mobile phone network operators in the country.

Some users complain that they don’t receive their OTP codes via SMS. If there is a delay, you can receive it via WhatsApp instead. You must click on the “Get by WhatsApp” button on the right side below your registration number.

If you’ve deactivated your mobile data, you won’t get an OTP code. Dial *196# to disable DND (Do Not Disturb) on your mobile.

If you have done all this and you still aren’t receiving your code, all that’s left is to contact the operator by phone (toll free), live chat, or WhatsApp.

When you sign up, you need to provide the following information:

Like all legitimate sportsbook operators, Pulse Bet asks potential users to undergo a Know Your Customer (KYC) procedure. To complete KYC, log in to your account, click “account” and select “account details” in the drop down menu. Open it and use the edit button to fill in all the fields as required and confirm.

How to deposit and withdraw money from your account

Only mobile money transactions are accepted. To make a deposit, choose “deposit” in the drop down menu under account, choose a payment method, and enter the sum you wish to deposit.

The operator credits deposits to users’ accounts at once. If the deposit doesn’t reflect immediately, get in touch with them. The minimum deposit amount is UGX 1,000 per transaction. The sportsbook doesn’t charge deposit fees, but your telecom may charge transaction fees depending on the amount deposited.

Pulsebet first deposit bonus

You have to use the deposited funds to place bets. You can’t make a withdrawal until you have made a bet using the whole amount deposited. Pulse Bet may increase wagering requirements of deposited funds on an individual basis.

If you don’t play the deposit value through before withdrawing, Pulse Bet may charge your account to recover any costs related to deposits and withdrawals. This might lead to a reduction of the withdrawal amount.

The minimum withdrawal is UGX 5,000 and the minimum deposit per transaction is 1000 UGX (one thousand Ugandan Shillings). The upper limit for deposits per transaction is 5,000,000 UGX (five million Ugandan Shillings) or lower if the payment service has a different limit. No fees are charged on withdrawals.

The bookmaker claims to process all withdrawals below UGX 5,000,000 per transaction instantly. If this is not the case, you’re asked to contact them. Delays are often due to incomplete KYC.

Overall review and rating of Pulse Bet. Can we trust it?

The company behind Pulse Bet is called SportTech Entertainment Uganda Limited. It is a completely legitimate company, licensed by the National Lotteries and Gaming Regulatory Board of Uganda.

The website is pretty basic and doesn’t look like a lot was invested into it. That’s understandable as the local bookmaker is just starting out and struggling with lots of competition from international brands all fighting for a share of the lucrative market in Uganda.

The symbol of the operator is a pulse, in line with its name. It’s an interesting idea, albeit somewhat distracting. The red pulse looks like a message notification, so if you have multiple tabs open, it can take attention away from your task at hand.
