Norway vs Kazakhstan Prediction: 17/11/2024

Norway is set to face Kazakhstan in the Nations League on Sunday, with fans eager to see how the match unfolds.

Norway aims to bounce back after a tough 5-1 loss to Austria in their previous Nations League outing. In that game, Norway held 34% possession and had eight shots, only one of which was on target, scored by Alexander Sørloth in the 39th minute.

Austria, on the other hand, had 16 attempts, with 10 on target, finding the net through Marko Arnautović, Philipp Lienhart, Stefan Posch, and Michael Gregoritsch. Norway’s recent games have been high-scoring, with five of their last six featuring three or more goals. During this stretch, they scored 10 goals while conceding nine.

Kazakhstan, meanwhile, seeks improvement following a narrow 1-0 defeat to Slovenia in their last Nations League match. In that game, Kazakhstan held 52% possession, creating seven attempts with three on target, though they failed to score.

Slovenia secured the win with a goal from Jan Mlakar in the 55th minute. Kazakhstan has struggled offensively in recent matches, with just three goals in their last six outings and 13 conceded.

The last Nations League meeting between these two sides on September 6, 2024, ended in a goalless draw. Kazakhstan managed 29% possession with four shots, none on target, while Norway dominated with 19 shots, two of which were on target.

Both Norway’s manager Ståle Solbakken and Kazakhstan’s manager Stanislav Cherchesov have full squads available, with no injuries reported.
